Our Prediction:

Paris St-G will win

Monaco – Paris St-G Match Prediction | 30-11-2019 12:00

It appears that a draw might be on the cards. Weve got the feeling that AS Monaco FC and AS Saint-Etienne could well end up finding themselves level here, with both teams capable of netting. With that in mind, we reckon that it will be a very even match with a 1-1 score draw after 90 minutes. Anyhow, considering that les Parisiens are determined to get back on course, Monaco are unlikely to spoil their party at Parc des Princes on Matchday 33. Leonardo Jardims team, on the other hand, aim to escape the danger zone, but beating PSG in the City of Lights is easier said than done. Kylian Mbappe, who is enjoying yet another successful season, is likely to pose a big threat for his former teammates.

PSG are the current holders, though they have been playing a close second fiddle to Monaco in the league for much of this season, with the principality side in pole position since Week 20 and showing little sign of giving that up with four games left of the campaign. Monaco have been superb and they are in first position with the added advantage of having a game in hand over PSG.

There will be fireworks when Monaco and PSG, the two contenders for the Ligue 1 title, face each other at Stade Louis II on Sunday evening. The reigning champions are eager to stay in the race for the title and we predict that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in the Ligue 1 derby. The star-studded visitors recorded a routine 4-1 win over Nantes at the weekend Edinson Cavani adding two goals to his account and, no doubt, the Uruguayan attacker will pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Les Rouges et Blancs dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Amiens at the weekend and, as a result, they are six points behind les Parisiens in the standings ahead of Matchday 14. PSG are likely to have a number of opportunities to score on the break and we believe that their pacey attackers are going to take advantage of the situation.

Formed by the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain in 1970, Paris Saint-Germain or as they call it PSG is the most successful club in French football with 31 domestic titles to their name. Having won six Ligue 1 title so far, a record ten Coupes de France, a record six Coupes de la Ligue, six Trophees des Champions and one Ligue 2 title, PSG are also one of only two French clubs to ever win a European title.

The signs looked ominous for Dijon when Kylian Mbappe fired PSG ahead. However, the hosts stayed in the contest and equalised on the cusp of half time, Chouiar firing into the bottom corner. PSG were left to rue several missed opportunities on a miserable night for the league leaders. Mauro Icardi, Angel Di Maria and Mbappe all wasted chances to rescue the game. Cadiz notched Dijons winning goal just two minutes into the second half.
