Our Prediction:

Barangay will win

Barangay – Alaska Aces Match Prediction | 23-09-2019 06:45

The Aces should just keep in mind that they have been the number one team this whole conference and are only two wins away from the championship. Aside from that, Ginebra seems tired from their five game series against Talk N Text, so thats another plus for the Aces. After all, the tight schedule is also on their side Ginebra only has a day to figure everything out. Its all about who wants it more.

In the first game, Macklin got away with 16 points and 14 rebounds. They should continue to limit his scoring, and Dozier should prove once and for all that his consistent game can earn him the Best Import award. Macklins performance could dictate Barangay Ginebras game, so Alaska needs to hold him down. Mark Caguioa is back on court, but after sitting out due to his injury for so long, I dont think hell be the spark the team needs.

True to their "we-not-me" mantra, they have to work as a cohesive unit on defense if they want to keep in pace with the KaTropa. They can go back to their roots and utilize their team defense as they try to disrupt TNT's top-notch offensive flow. Diamon Simpson cannot match up with Jones one-on-one, but guys like Sonny Thoss and Vic Manuel can help out.

Editor's Picks

Ginebra just seems too tired, and the schedule isnt exactly on their side. Someone else will always be there to step up. I agree that it will probably be a much closer game than the last one, but I think Alaska will take the win today as well. Carlas prediction? Its all about teamwork for the Aces, so it doesnt matter if RJ Jazul doesnt shoot as well as he did in the last game.

In order to have a chance against Alaska they need to score and score and score. In their series against TNT, Ginebra averaged 106.3 points in three wins and 79.5 points in two losses. They did it against Rain or Shine and Talk n Text and theres no way they cant against Alaska. Yes, defense wins championships but if they could beat Alaskas defense they have a chance. In Game 1, they scored 70 points.

with a whooping odds of 1.76, com'on I'm not a greedy man. With 1.80 on my prediction it will definitely make a difference in make ranks therefore over 192. I am very comfortable with my prediction because the game can be won by either of the the teams and looking at their past meeting they have over 195 points so why not predict over 192. The record show that both team points on average of over 195 points... I don't know who will win but I I'm confident that there will be an average point of over 195 points. 5.

They experimented with Nino Johnson, switched back to Daniels, and then ultimately decided to get an old reliable in Diamon Simpson. Before it went downhill for the Aces, they had a promising stretch where they won four games with Chris Daniels in the fold. They failed to sustain the momentum, however, as they succumbed to a five-game skid while scrambling to find the right import replacement.

2018-2019 Team Stats

The veteran forward, who returned this conference after a long injury layoff, has not yet regained his peak form, but he can provide the much-needed support that Diamon Simpson needs. Chris Banchero will also need to step up his game, similar to the clutch heroics that he showcased against Meralco, to help the Aces stay in contention. Vic Manuel will be the game-changer for Alaska.

Like I mentioned earlier, they are the best defensive team in the league and they proved that in the first quarter. They limited Ginebras scoring to only six points possibly an all-time low in the PBA. Carla: I agree with you there, RJ. They were able to limit Macklin to 16 points and 14 rebounds, while top-scoring local LA Tenorio only came up with 14 points.
